salticidae: highly ornamental illustration of soundwave holding up a microphone (soundwave funk)

it's free real estate

My mom came up the other day in order to deliver me some new shelves (and a real mattress! dont tell anyone but I've been sleeping on an unfolded couch futon (with lots of extra padding but still) for the past 3 years) and I think now I have enough extra space for maybe two or three new transformers 😳 Photos below the cut:

Wooden shelves; all four levels are full of toys, figures, and plushies of Soundwave and the cassettes
Soundwaves get their own shelves obviously (and Blaster's here too) :3c I think the only cassettes I'm missing at this point are Eject and Flipsides... Eject is cheap as hell, I just need to make the effort, but Flipsides was only ever released as a pack-in with Twincast and I'm not paying 200+ bucks for that -___- also I kind of wanted to keep all the little plush guys on my bed but they were always falling underneath and getting covered in dust bunnies anyway, plus this way I can look at them way easier.

Another set of wooden shelves; most of the space is taken up by various toys and figurines, but there are a few rows of books, too

Actually I'm really excited to be able to bring more of my books up from my parents' house, and to buy more just in general. My Dungeon Meshi and FMA collections especially are sooo malnourished.

Close-ups:

A shelf featuring Masterpiece Soundwave and all the G1 decepticon cassettes, along with two plush toys, one of TFP Soundwave and one of Ravage

Cyclonus, Tailgate, and Whirl; Skyfire and Starscream; Knock Out; Chromedome and Rewind; Brainstorm; Tarn

Gay zone (and also Tarn) (you can't really see it but I managed to get Whirl's arm around Cyclonus' shoulder and I'm very proud of finagling that with Whirl's weird arm joints)

Gundam Lfrith and Gundam Aerial posed so that Aerial is watching Lfrith squat like a delinquent

Aerial learns bad habits.

Also on an unrelated note I'm SO glad that T has given me the ability to enjoy cold showers. At least I'm pretty sure it's T-related 🤔 But I used to have to turn the water up to scalding every time, even in the middle of the summer, so it's suuuch a relief to be free of that now.
