hello again

OK, officially dusting this thing back off for future use since it seems like twitter is finally succumbing to its horrible fate. I'll still be there until the site is done for good, but I'm also not really interested in any of the new twitter substitutes cropping up, so here I am. For now the plan is to leave most of it unlocked and only lock certain entries as I feel the need to, so if you're a friend checking up on me from any of the other sites I use you don't have to worry about making yet another account to potentially gather dust somewhere. If you do make an account, though, comment here to let me know who you are and I'll add you to my circle in whatever capacity you prefer!

(I'm also not opposed to making new friends on this site, if you find me via browsing interests or something, but my fandom capacity these days is pretty limited and I mostly enjoy "parallel play" with small groups, so that's about what you can expect from this journal.)

The first order of business is I have to get more icons.  Icon culture is my favorite thing about this site format and I'm already rotating a bunch of images in my mind about it. Actually all the slots on this account were full from last time I was here but I had to clean them out because half of them were homestuck lol.

Second order of business is uhh figure out what/how often I want to be posting here. Obviously this is gonna be more longform than I've gotten used to but I also don't want it to turn into... idk some kind of meticulously curated & scheduled obligation or something. Well it's fine I can do whatever I want in the meantime. Maybe I'll mirror (backdated) some of my stuff from tumblr and/or ao3 to start 🤔
