Nov. 16th, 2023 05:28 pmHad my PT appointment today and it went pretty well! They showed me a bunch of new stretches to do and gave me a big rubber band to do some of them with. I'm going to have to get an exercise ball and a foam roller at some point on my own time though... I also need to start going on walks on my days off (for one whole hour!!!!). It'd be fun to do those out in the park but I hope the idea of going all the way out there doesn't turn out to be some kind of insurmountable waist-high fence. As it were. I mean I can just walk around my neighborhood but I would feel silly about it.
I stopped by Kinokuniya also because I was in the area already and got a bunch of my books (Dunmeshi, Dai Dark, Daemons of the Underworld) - and I finally found a copy of The Summer Hikaru Died, which was exciting but I was kind of hoping the official translation would render their accents in a less annoying way than the scanlation :/ I mean it's definitely not as bad but it's still leaning way too heavily on phonetic spelling instead of like turns of phrase. Every time I'm in Kinokuniya I want to buy gunpla too but I already have a bunch of unassembled ones just lying around... They had so many fun zeon suits including GOUFS today and it took all my willpower to put it down. I can get goufy with it later. Like after I finally free Qubeley MKII and Kshatriya from their boxes. I should just pick one and make a weekend of it tbh but they're both such big fancy models that I want to make sure I'm treating them right. Please forgive me ladies 🙇
Anyway when I got home there was a juror eligibility survey in my mailbox 😱 It was just like "are you a citizen" and "have you ever been charged with a felony" so I don't think I'm being called in just yet. But umm. Uh-oh.
